Are you passionate about storytelling and love creating meaningful connections? We’re looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Communications Intern to help us bring our community to life online and beyond. If you’ve ever wanted to use your marketing and communication skills to make a real difference in a growing community, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn), newsletters, and our website to promote events, featured books, and member stories.
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute marketing campaigns to increase awareness, engagement, and attendance for our events and initiatives.
  • Brand Development: Ensure all communication aligns with Women Who Get It’s mission, tone, and visual identity.
  • Community Engagement: Actively engage with our online audience through comments, direct messages, and creative strategies that build a sense of belonging.
  • Event Promotion: Create marketing materials and strategies to boost attendance and excitement for our quarterly meetups and virtual check-ins.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and report on the performance of marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, Canva, and basic design tools.
  • A creative mindset and a passion for building community through digital channels.
  • Experience with marketing, content creation, or communications is a plus.
  • Interest in literature and alignment with Women Who Get It’s values.
